Road safety messages will be displayed at vantage points at temporary bus stations set up to handle the extra rush of passengers.
Considering the expected turnout of more than 40 crore devotees at Maha Kumbh 2025, UPSRTC will set up a stall at the mela venue to make people aware of road safety.

The state reports the maximum road deaths in a year, an average of 22,000, in the country. The state govt has been emphasising public awareness to reduce deaths in road accidents.

Minister of state for transport (independent charge) Dayashankar Singh has directed the officers to use publicity vans with LED screens to spread the message on road safety on routes leading to the site of Maha Kumbh.

Meanwhile, at the stall at the mela site, audio-visual short films and audio jingles will be played to make visitors aware of the dos and don'ts of road safety.

During the period of Maha Kumbh, vehicles on different routes leading to the mela site will be checked for reflective tapes and other road safety measures. Enforcement officers will be present round-the-clock at the toll plazas on the day of the main bathing event and the day before, officials said.
