SHANGHAI: China will lower import tariff rates on ethane and some recycled copper and aluminum raw materials, according to official statements disclosed on Saturday.
China will adjust the rates of some import tariff categories, effective from Jan. 1, 2025, according to documents from the Ministry of Finance.
The world's second-largest country will raise import tariffs on some commodities such as molasses and sugar-containing pre-mixed powders, while lower tariffs on categories such as viral vectors for Car-T tumor therapy, and automatic transmissions for special-purpose vehicles, according to official documents.
