Yunik Jitendra EV launched the Yunik electric scooter, aiming to redefine sustainable mobility with innovative technology and design. The scooter boasts several industry-first features and is priced at INR 1,24,083 (ex-showroom), with deliveries starting January 15, 2025. Two additional variants, Yunik Lite and Yunik Pro, are planned for an October 2025 launch. Jitendra EV plans to launch two additional variants, the Yunik Lite and Yunik Pro, in October 2025. These variants will include features like TFT displays and will be priced starting from INR 92,000.
The Yunik electric scooter features the HyperGear Powertrain for enhanced efficiency and Spin Switch Riding Modes for a modern riding experience. It offers a best-in-class ground clearance of 180 mm and a comfortable, ergonomically designed seat suitable for both short and long journeys. The scooter also comes with a three-year or 50,000 km warranty on both the vehicle and battery.
Powering the Yunik is a 3.8 kW LMFP detachable battery, providing a range of 118 km per charge and a top speed of 75 km/h. The battery is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and a thermal propagation alert for enhanced safety. It also integrates with the JENi application for smart connectivity and intuitive controls.
Design and accessories customised for Yunik
The Yunik’s design includes an illuminated logo. It is available in five colors: Meadow Green, Dusk Blue, Forest White, Volcano Red, and Eclipse Black.
Jitendra EV has also introduced a range of accessories specifically designed for the Yunik. These include the Yunikrown smart helmet with Bluetooth connectivity, the Yuniklamp for securing the helmet, the Yunikase multi-utility detachable bag, and the Yunikart Booster for easy movement in case of a puncture.
The comprehensive warranty of three years or 50,000 km provides assurance and peace of mind to owners. The five color options cater to diverse preferences, adding a stylish element to the scooter's functionality.
