Vitor SilvaMichelin has appointed Vitor Silva as the new president of its Africa, India, and Middle East (AIM) region. Silva, boasting over 28 years of experience with Michelin, will be based in Pune, India, and tasked with driving growth and innovation in the region. His appointment was announced today. He will focus on enhancing customer experiences and promoting sustainable mobility.
He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Euromaster. Euromaster is a Michelin subsidiary and a leading European service provider for car, van, and truck fleets. Euromaster operates over 2,500 centers across 18 countries.
Experience
Silva brings a wealth of experience from various leadership roles within the Michelin Group. These roles span sales, marketing, and commercial functions across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Silva's career at Michelin also includes leadership positions in areas such as two-wheel, truck, retread, and distribution.
“In his new role, Vitor will steer Michelin's growth in the Africa, India, and Middle East region, in addition to enhancing customer experiences, and drive innovation that aligns with the company’s vision of sustainable mobility,” the company stated.
Silva is a motorcycle enthusiast. He is married and has a daughter.
