OPG Mobility (formerly Okaya EV) launched the Ferrato DEFY 22 electric scooter for INR 99,999 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Pre-bookings begin January 17, 2025 at INR 499. The scooter boasts a range of features including a Combi Disc Brake System, an IP67-rated LFP battery, and a 7-inch touch display speedometer. OPG Mobility also showcased a concept model, the Ferrato Z Model, and its existing range of electric two and three-wheelers.
Features
The Ferrato DEFY 22 is designed for the Indian market with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and practicality. It offers a speed of 70 kmph and a range of 80 km on a single charge, verified by ICAT. The scooter is priced at INR 99,999 (ex-showroom) and is available in seven dual-tone color options.
The available colors for the DEFY 22 include Champagne Cream, Black Fire, Coastal Ivory, Unity White, Resilience Black, Dove Grey, and Matte Green.
Battery
The DEFY 22 comes equipped with a 1200W motor with a peak power of 2500W and a 72V 30Ah (2.2 kWh) LFP battery. This provides ample power for daily commutes. The scooter also features a dual footboard level for improved rider posture.
The IP67-rated LFP battery and IP65-rated charger ensure weather resistance and reliable performance. The 7-inch touch display speedometer includes a music feature, adding to the convenience and entertainment value.
Stylish 12-inch alloy wheels contribute to the scooter's bold and classy design. The seven dual-tone color options allow customers to personalize their DEFY 22.

OPG Mobility also exhibited its existing portfolio of electric two-wheelers, including the Ferrato Faast F4 in Matte Green, Ferrato Freedum LI in Cyan, and Ferrato Disruptor in Black. The Ferrato DEFY 22 was displayed in two dual-tone variants: Red & Black and Gold & White. The Ferrato Z Model was showcased in Silver.
