This, the researchers - KL Yadav and Amiya Mandal - claimed, makes it ideal for energy storage, adding that "the invention could transform the domestic electric vehicle (EV) sector by enabling the production of smaller, high-performance capacitors with enhanced ability for energy storage when paired with lithium batteries".
The material, a dielectric ceramic, is environmental friendly and cost-effective, they said. The findings were published in this month's issue of the Chemical Engineering Journal, a peer reviewed journal published by global scientific publications firm, Elsevier.
