Eicher Trucks and Buses continues to lead the industry with innovative solutions that promote efficiency and sustainability.”VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) Limited, a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, signed a definitive agreement with Baidyanath LNG Private Limited during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The partnership entails the deployment of 500 Eicher Pro 6055 LNG trucks, strengthening India’s commitment to sustainable long-haul transportation.
This agreement follows an initial MoU signed on August 26, 2024, during the inauguration of Baidyanath LNG’s fueling station in Nagpur, where Honorable Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, flagged off the first fleet of Eicher LNG trucks.
The collaboration aims to enhance the LNG ecosystem in India by deploying LNG-powered trucks, training technicians in LNG technology, and expanding LNG fueling infrastructure, particularly in Central India. Speaking on the agreement, Vinod Aggarwal, Managing Director and CEO of VECV, said, “This partnership reflects our commitment to a greener future for long-haul transport.
