TVS iQubeTVS Motor Company reported a 17% year-over-year sales increase in January 2025, selling 397,623 units compared to 339,513 units in January 2024. This growth was driven by strong performances in two-wheelers, electric vehicles, and exports.
Two-wheeler sales
Total two-wheeler sales rose by 18% to 387,671 units in January 2025, up from 329,937 units in January 2024. Domestic two-wheeler sales saw a 10% increase, reaching 293,860 units in January 2025 compared to 268,233 units the previous year.
Motorcycle sales grew by 12%, from 155,611 units in January 2024 to 174,388 units in January 2025. Scooter sales experienced a more significant jump, increasing by 29% to 171,111 units in January 2025 from 132,290 units in January 2024.
EV and three wheeler sales
Electric vehicle (EV) sales showed substantial growth, rising by 55% to 25,195 units in January 2025, compared to 16,276 units in January 2024. Three-wheeler sales saw a more modest increase of 4%, reaching 9,952 units in January 2025, up from 9,576 units in January 2024.
Exports
TVS Motor Company's international business also performed well. Total exports increased by 46%, reaching 101,055 units in January 2025, up from 69,343 units in January 2024.
Two-wheeler exports contributed significantly to this growth, with a 52% increase. Sales climbed to 93,811 units in January 2025 from 61,704 units in January 2024.
