BE 6e and XEV 9eMahindra & Mahindra has launched two new electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6e, built on their new INGLO platform. Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e are launched at INR 18.9 lakh and INR 21.9 lakh.
The company has launched BE 6e pack 1 at INR 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom) ranging up to INR 20.36 lakh. The XEV 9e ex-showroom is launched at INR 21.90 lakh with ranging up to INR 23.59 lakh.
This marks the company's first foray into "born-electric" architecture. The INGLO platform offers enhanced performance, efficiency, and design flexibility.
INGLO Platform
The new SUVs utilise Mahindra’s innovative INGLO platform, a skateboard EV architecture. This architecture features a lightweight flat-floor structure, serving as the foundation for the XEV 9e and BE 6e.
“INGLO platform is Mahindra’s first skateboard EV architecture, designed to optimise performance, efficiency, and design flexibility,” stated the company.
Design
The XEV 9e showcases a distinct design with an integrated LED light bar and vertical lighting elements. It also features a closed grille displaying Mahindra’s EV emblem and a streamlined bonnet.
The BE 6e takes a different design approach, drawing inspiration from the XUV 3XO lighting design. The BE 6e also prominently displays distinctive BE branding.
Both the XEV 9e and BE 6e share common design elements. These include connected LED tail lights, pronounced wheel arches, and large alloy wheels, anticipated to be up to 18 inches in size.
