Revolt Motors is establishing its first Sri Lankan dealership on Maradana Road in Colombo.
Revolt Motors, India's largest electric motorcycle company, launched its RV400 and RV400 BRZ models in Sri Lanka, marking a significant step towards sustainable transportation. The launch event, held at Water's Edge, introduced the motorcycles alongside plans for an expanded dealership network across 11 strategic locations. Revolt Motors aims to revolutionize the two-wheeler segment with advanced technology and a commitment to eco-friendly mobility.

Revolt Motors in Sri Lanka

Revolt Motors is establishing its first Sri Lankan dealership on Maradana Road in Colombo. The company intends to expand its footprint with dealerships in Kurunegala, Madurankuliya, Matara, Embilipitiya, Elpitiya, Batticaloa, Kirindiwela, Horana, Kelaniya, and Tangalle. The expansion signifies Revolt Motors’ commitment to providing accessible electric mobility solutions throughout Sri Lanka.

The launch event was attended by Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Pvt Ltd, and Bob Kundanmal, Chairman of Evolution Auto, the exclusive distributor of Revolt Motors in Sri Lanka. Both emphasised the importance of electric mobility and Revolt’s contribution to a greener future. The event also included live demonstrations showcasing the capabilities of the RV400.

Features

The RV400 offers a range of up to 160 km on a single charge and a top speed of 85 km/h. The motorcycle features customisable riding modes (Eco, City, and Sport), AI-enabled connectivity, and mobile app integration. These features combine performance and innovation with affordability, making it suitable for various riding needs.

Kundanmal expressed enthusiasm for introducing Revolt’s electric motorcycles to Sri Lanka. He believes this launch represents a pivotal step in transforming the country's mobility landscape. The partnership between Atman Group and Sino Lanka Private Limited will further support EV adoption through infrastructure development and dedicated after-sales service.

The RV400 is designed to withstand Sri Lanka’s diverse weather conditions with its IP67-rated battery. It is equipped with dual disc brakes, a combined braking system, and adjustable suspension to ensure a safe and comfortable ride on various terrains.

The RV400 also boasts advanced AI-enabled features, including real-time alerts, geo-fencing, reverse mode, and keyless ignition. These features offer enhanced security and convenience. The mobile app provides seamless integration with navigation assistance, call alerts, and remote start functionalities, further enhancing the riding experience.
