BMW Motorrad India announces up to 2.5% price increase effective January 2025

BMW Motorrad India will implement price increases of up to 2.5% across its motorcycle and scooter models starting January 1, 2025, due to rising input costs and inflation. This price adjustment aims to maintain profitability and uphold the brand's standards of quality, performance, and customer experience. BMW Motorrad began operations in India in April 2017 and boasts a diverse portfolio of premium two-wheelers.

Price hike
The price increases will apply to the entire BMW Motorrad range in India from the beginning of 2025. The company cites increasing input costs and inflationary pressures as the reasons behind the decision. BMW Motorrad intends to maintain its profitability while ensuring high standards across its products and brand experience.

‘The strategic price corrections are driven by rising overall input costs and inflation pressures. The decision will support in ensuring profitability and high standards of BMW Motorrad excellence in terms of quality, performance and brand experience,’ the company stated.


Diverse range of motorcycles
BMW Motorrad has been operating in India since April 2017 as part of the BMW Group. The company emphasises the breadth of its premium motorcycle and scooter offerings in the Indian market. Several models, including the BMW G 310 R, BMW G 310 GS, BMW G 310 RR, and the all-electric BMW CE 02, are manufactured in India in partnership with TVS Motor Company. These models are developed by BMW Motorrad in Munich, Germany, and then locally produced in Hosur, India. This initiative follows the 'Made in India for the World' strategy.

BMW India Financial Services offers financing options for motorcycles and accessories, aiming to make ownership more accessible. These financing solutions are customisable to meet individual customer needs, covering not just the motorcycles but also rider gear and accessories.

All BMW Motorrad bikes in India are covered by a standard three-year unlimited kilometer warranty. This warranty can be extended to a fourth and fifth year. The company also provides 24/7 roadside assistance, which includes breakdown support and towing services.
