Eleven global media outlets, including representatives from the U.S., Malaysia, Japan, China, India and Spain, participated in the event, choosing awardees from 463 exhibiting companies. The awards aimed to provide international exposure and networking opportunities for the selected companies.

FIX 2024, held at EXCO in Daegu, focused on future technologies such as mobility, robotics, and ABB (AI, Big Data, Blockchain). Global media representatives, including Clipset from Spain, SINA from China, and Business Today from Malaysia, spent two days evaluating the exhibiting companies before selecting the top innovators.

Thirty-three companies received recognition in various categories. Awardees included MORAI, Autonomous a2z, and SL Corporation in the mobility sector. The ICT sector saw awards given to Zio Robot, VSion, MDA, Biolink, and ST Youngwon. In robotics, the recognized companies were YOUNG HYUN Robotics, Irova, Mobinn, and Jimbo Robotics.

Several Daegu-Gyeongbuk-based companies were among the awardees. Lee Wook Jin, CEO of Young Hyun Robotics, a local company from Daegu, expressed, “It has been an incredibly busy two days with numerous consultations and immense interest from attendees. Winning this award as a local Daegu company chosen by global media is a true honor. My thanks go to Daegu City and EXCO for their support.”

Miriam McNabb, editor of Dronelife, a U.S.-based drone tech media outlet, highlighted, “Selecting just three standout companies was challenging given the remarkable potential and innovation among all participants. FIX 2024 is one of the best exhibitions I have attended recently, offering a unique opportunity to compare cutting-edge technologies in one place.”
