The 2025 Ather 450X and 450 Apex models now include multi-mode traction control. This feature enhances safety by preventing slippage on low-friction surfaces. The system synchronizes rear wheel speed with the front wheel for better stability under slippery conditions.
Three modes are available: Rain Mode, Road Mode, and Rally Mode. Rain Mode maximizes safety on wet surfaces. Road Mode balances safety and performance for everyday riding. Rally Mode allows for controlled slip, catering to off-road riding.
Ather has also focused on increasing range with multi-compound tires developed with MRF. The optimization of energy use through features like MagicTwistTM further improves range by reducing energy loss during braking.
The 2025 Ather 450X 3.7kWh boasts a TrueRangeTM of up to 130 km (IDC Range: 161 km). The 450 Apex achieves a TrueRangeTM of up to 130 km (IDC Range: 157 km). The 450X 2.9 kWh and Ather 450S also see improved TrueRangeTM up to 105 km (IDC Range: 126 km and 122 km respectively).
MagicTwistTM, previously introduced on the 450 Apex and Rizta Z, is now available on the 2025 450X. This feature enhances rider control by allowing deceleration modulation through the throttle. Twisting the throttle accelerates, while twisting in reverse modulates deceleration, even at full battery charge.
