EKA Mobility, an electric vehicle company, is entering the e-truck market with plans to launch a 55-ton prime mover and a range of rigid chassis e-trucks, starting with a 7-tonner, at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025. The company is leveraging its own technology and partnerships with global vendors, including Mahindra & Mahindra, to develop these vehicles. EKA Mobility aims to become a global leader in the electric commercial vehicle sector.

EKA will introduce a 55-ton prime mover in both 6x4 and 4x2 configurations. The company will also launch a range of rigid chassis e-trucks, beginning with a 7-ton model.

These electric trucks are being developed using EKA's proprietary technology and EV aggregates. The company is collaborating with global vendors and a leading Indian original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for components. Specifically, Mahindra & Mahindra's truck range components are being utilised for EKA's EV commercial vehicle development.

EKA Mobility portfolio

This expansion into e-trucks builds upon EKA Mobility's existing portfolio of electric vehicles. The company plans to launch this new product range at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025. EKA Mobility intends to solidify its position in the Indian EV market and become a global leader in the electric commercial vehicle space.
