The Humsafar IK Tipper aims to address the increasing need for sustainable and efficient transportation solutions, offering a greener alternative to traditional diesel-powered vehicles.
Lohia emphasises the Humsafar IK Tipper’s robust design, zero-emission technology, and suitability for heavy-duty tasks, positioning it as a transformative solution for the waste management sector.
The Humsafar IK Tipper boasts a 6 KW motor, enabling a top speed of 48 km/h. Equipped with a 10 kWh battery, the vehicle offers a range exceeding 100 km on a single charge. This extended range ensures operational efficiency for businesses engaged in waste management activities. The battery's four-hour charging time further minimises downtime and maximises productivity, the company said in a media release.

Price and features
The Humsafar IK Tipper is priced between INR 8-9 lakh. The vehicle's design prioritises functionality and durability. The Humsafar IK Tipper features a spacious garbage collection box with dimensions of 1750x1485x1450 mm. A ground clearance of 220 mm enables the vehicle to navigate uneven terrains effectively. Its gradability of 13 degrees makes it suitable for hilly and challenging surfaces, expanding its operational versatility, the company said.
The vehicle comes with a digital instrument cluster. The cluster provides real-time monitoring of essential metrics such as speed and battery life, offering operators crucial information at a glance.
The Humsafar IK Tipper is built to withstand heavy loads with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 1047 kg, ensuring durability and consistent performance. The vehicle is equipped with hydraulic drum brakes on both the front and rear axles, providing reliable stopping power and enhancing safety during operation, the company said.
