Royal Enfield launches Goan Classic 350 at INR 2.35 lakh

Royal Enfield, a global leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment, has launched the Goan Classic 350 motorcycle starting at INR 2.35 lakh. The bike comes in two variants, which is inspired by 1970s and 1980s Goan moto-culture, the bobber-inspired motorcycle celebrates non-conformity and a free-spirited lifestyle. The company states the motorcycle is designed to embody the spirit of self-expression and individuality.

Royal Enfield Managing Director Siddhartha Lal describes the Goan Classic 350 as a tribute to the brand's decades-long championing of freedom and individuality. He states the motorcycle embodies a cool, laid-back Goan moto-culture and reflects Royal Enfield’s passion for building motorcycles that are more than machines.


Features

The Goan Classic 350 is powered by a 349cc air-oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle is built on a twin downtube spine frame and features telescopic front suspension with 41mm forks. Twin rear shock absorbers are included. Nineteen-inch front and 16-inch rear aluminum spoke wheels with whitewall tubeless tires are standard. Dual-channel ABS with 300mm front and 270mm rear disc brakes provide stopping power. The Goan Classic 350 features mid-mounted foot controls and ergonomic handlebars. A bolt-on arrangement for a pillion seat allows for single or dual seat configurations.


The Goan Classic 350’s dashboard includes a gear position indicator and a Tripper navigation pod that provides turn-by-turn directions. A USB Type-C charging port is also included. LED lighting is used throughout. Aluminum switch cubes add to the motorcycle’s aesthetic appeal.

Goan Classic 350 clothing collection

Royal Enfield collaborated with the Rafu’D brand to create a clothing collection to complement the Goan Classic 350. Inspired by the boho and vibrant elements of Goa, the collection seeks to channel a free spirit and is infused with vibrant energy. The collection, which utilises earthy natural fabrics, bold psychedelic prints and fluid silhouettes, is intended to capture Goa’s “susegado” vibe.


Design

The Goan Classic 350 is available in four colorways: Shack Black, Rave Red, Purple Haze, and Trip Teal. Each features a new tank badge and bespoke color schemes. Chrome accents and slashed-cut silencers complete the motorcycle’s aesthetic.

The Goan Classic 350 is offered with a selection of bespoke, bobber-inspired Genuine Motorcycle Accessories. These include a custom rider seat, handlebar grips, bar-end mirrors, touring screen, touring handlebar, deluxe foot pegs, and foot control rubbers in custom-brown.

Royal Enfield CEO B Govindarajan positions the Goan Classic as a fusion of classic design and modern engineering rooted in custom bobber culture. He emphasises the motorcycle’s bohemian, free-spirited vibe combined with relaxed, comfortable riding manners.
