The Amaze features Honda's "Sporty, Protective, and Progressive" design ethos.Honda Cars India Ltd. has launched the third generation Honda Amaze, marking its global debut in India. Priced between INR 7,99,900 and INR 10,89,900. The company said the Amaze is designed as an “Elite Booster Sedan” that blends style, safety, and advanced technology to cater to young, family-oriented buyers.
Specifications The new Amaze is powered by a 1.2L 4-cylinder i-VTEC SOHC petrol engine, available with both 5-speed manual and CVT transmissions. It delivers 90 PS of power and a torque of 110 Nm, offering a fuel efficiency of 18.65 km/l (manual) and 19.46 km/l (CVT). With a length of 3,995 mm, a wheelbase of 2,470 mm, and a ground clearance of 172 mm, the sedan provides ample cabin space while maintaining a compact footprint.
Design The Amaze features Honda's "Sporty, Protective, and Progressive" design ethos. Its wide stance, LED projector headlamps, and wing-shaped LED tail lamps offer a contemporary and bold look. Inside, the dual-tone beige and black interior combines sophistication and functionality.
The horizontal instrument panel enhances visibility, while the spacious cabin ensures comfort for all passengers. Some of the key features include an 8-inch HD display, wireless charging, rear AC vents, and a push-button start/stop system.
Features and safety Equipped with Honda Sensing, the Amaze becomes the most affordable ADAS-enabled car in India. Safety highlights include six airbags, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist, and ISOFIX anchors. The Honda Connect system offers 37+ features, such as remote operations and geofencing, with a complimentary 5 year subscription. Additionally, features like LaneWatch and a multi-angle rear camera enhance convenience and safety.
