Hero MotoCorp records 13% growth Y-o-Y during festive season with sales of 1.6 mn units

Hero MotoCorp, the world's leading motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, achieved record-breaking retail sales during the 32-day festive season starting from Navratri. The company sold over 1.6 million units, representing a 13% increase compared to the same period in 2023. This success is attributed to strong demand across urban and rural India, particularly in the 125cc motorcycle segment led by the Xtreme 125R.

VIDA sales

The company's electric vehicle brand, VIDA, also achieved a milestone by selling 11,600 units during the festive period. This growth is driven by the expansion of the VIDA network, leveraging Hero MotoCorp's existing outlets, and a focus on major towns.

Harley-Davidson X440 sales

The Harley-Davidson X440, a product of the partnership between Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson, also witnessed strong sales with over 2,800 units sold. Hero MotoCorp plans to expand the reach of the Harley-Davidson brand in India by increasing the number of Premia dealerships to over 100 by the end of the fiscal year.
