Audi Q8 Facelift Audi India reported 5,816 retail sales for the calendar year 2024, marking a significant milestone of 100,000 cumulative car sales in India. The company saw a strong fourth quarter with 1,927 units sold, its best quarter of the year. Growth was fueled by improved supply in the latter half of the year, new model launches like the Audi Q8 and Q7, and a 32% increase in pre-owned car sales through its Audi Approved: plus program.
Q4 sales
Audi India achieved a 36% increase in sales in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter. This was attributed to improved supply chain conditions in the second half of the year. The full year sales figure of 5,816 units includes the challenging first half where supply chain disruptions impacted performance.
“The first half of 2024 brought supply-related challenges for Audi India, yet the continued demand for our products reflects the enduring trust our customers place in the brand. With improved supplies in second half of 2024 our volumes improved by 36% in quarter four compared to quarter three of 2024. This year also marked a major milestone of 100,000 cars sold in India. With the introduction of the new Audi Q8 and new Audi Q7, along with a robust portfolio, we are finishing the year strongly in quarter four and anticipate sales to grow hereon. We remain optimistic about the long-term potential of the Indian luxury car market and are committed to delivering exceptional experiences to our customers,” said Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India.
Audi's 100 Days of Celebration
The 100,000 cumulative sales milestone in India was celebrated with a "100 Days of Celebration" campaign. This campaign provided special benefits to both new and existing Audi customers. This achievement underlines the brand's growing presence and acceptance in the Indian market.
Audi Approved: plus
