The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, held from January 17th to 22nd across three venues in India, saw a significant increase in attendance compared to its 2024 predecessor. With nearly one million visitors, the expo showcased India's growing mobility sector and its capacity to host large-scale international events. The event featured over 1,500 exhibitors, 239 product launches across various mobility segments, and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The 2025 expo's attendance reached 983,522, a substantial increase from the 150,000+ attendees in 2024. The event spanned three locations: Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. This multi-venue approach allowed for a comprehensive showcase of the diverse sectors within the mobility industry.

What does it signify?

The expo aimed to demonstrate India's progress in mobility and its potential within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. The event highlighted the country's ability to organize and execute complex international events. The choice of venues, including the newly developed Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi, underscored India's investment in modern infrastructure for such events.

Product launches

The Auto Expo Motor Show 2025 itself saw 90 vehicle launches. The majority of these launches focused on electric vehicles, with some featuring flex-fuel and other alternative powertrains. This emphasis on electric and alternative fuel vehicles underscored the industry's move towards sustainable transportation.

The Auto Components Show, held at Yashobhoomi, featured 97 product and technology launches. This demonstrated the automotive supply chain's preparedness for the ongoing transformation of the sector.

The Bharat Construction Equipment Expo showcased 24 new products. Many of these were BS (CEV) Stage 5 ready equipment, alongside electric and hydrogen-powered options. This highlighted the construction industry's adoption of cleaner technologies.

The Bharat Battery Show saw 21 launches focused on battery and charging solutions. These launches reflected advancements in battery storage technology and charging infrastructure, crucial for the widespread adoption of electric vehicles.

The India Cycle Show 2025, organized by EEPC India, witnessed five launches. The show featured bicycles, e-scooters, and other micro-mobility solutions, including electric bikes and scooters. This highlighted the growing importance of micro-mobility in urban transportation.

The Mobility Tech Pavilion exhibited cutting-edge technologies. These included intelligent cockpits, autonomous vehicle solutions, and human-centric features designed to shape the future of transportation.

The India International Tyre Show 2025 launched two product ranges for passenger and commercial vehicles. The show also highlighted advancements in tyre technology, such as smart tyres, sustainable materials, and improved safety features. Some companies also announced strategic plans to enter specific tyre segments within the Indian market.

At the Steel Pavilion, companies showcased innovations in automotive steel, focusing on sustainability, strength, and lightweight materials.

The Urban Mobility and Infrastructure Show 2025 showcased innovations in sustainable urban transit. This included rapid transit systems, mass rapid transit systems, advanced equipment manufacturing, and energy-efficient mobility solutions.

The Urban Air Mobility section featured demonstrations of advancements in air mobility technologies. Companies showcased Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) and electric VTOL (eVTOL) aircraft, while others presented drone-based air mobility solutions.

The expo's success demonstrated India's growing influence in the global mobility landscape. It also served as a platform for collaboration, innovation, and the exchange of ideas within the industry. The substantial increase in attendance from 2024 to 2025 indicates growing public and industry interest in the future of mobility.
